Sonic Summary

A client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) to support various substation projects with an ASAP start and a 6-month initial contract.
The position requires strong NEC knowledge, previous substation experience, and a minimum of 5 years of experience working for a Tier 1 contractor.
The role involves providing commercial support at the project level, working on both live projects and tender opportunities within the power sector.
Candidates must be proficient in administering NEC3 and NEC4 contracts and have estimating experience.
The position offers a hybrid working model, requiring travel to the Glasgow office 2-3 days a week, and is classified as inside IR35.

One of our clients are looking for a Senior QS to assist them on various substation projects. You will need to be able to travel to the clients Glasgow office on a weekly basis.

Specific duties: * This role will provide commercial support at a project level in all aspects of commercial control. You will work on both live projects and tender opportunities within the power sector. You will use your in-depth experience of the NEC3 and NEC4 forms of contract (Options A and C) to administer projects effectively including the development and implementation of subcontracts with the supply chain. This specific role requires Estimating experience.
