We're looking for aSenior Quantity Surveyorto support our project construction team byleading and advising on all commercial matters. You will work closely with theCommercial Manager, Project Manager, and Finance & Procurement teams, ensuring all projects are delivered profitably, contractually compliant, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage allcommercial aspectsof assigned projects.

  • Negotiate and prepare contractual variationswith clients and subcontractors.

  • Measure and value workscompleted on-site, ensuring accuracy and transparency.

  • Prepare and agreemonthly payment applicationswith clients.

  • Assist in tender preparation, cost planning, and bid support.

  • Trackdesign changesand ensure all variations are captured and agreed.

  • Assess subcontractor applicationsand monitor their performance.

  • Review and reportprogress against the works programme.

  • Maintainbudgetary controland preparecost-to-completion forecasts.

  • Issue and manageEarly Warning Notices (EWNs)in line with contract requirements.

  • SupportProject Managerswith contractual and commercial advice.

  • Liaise with theLegal teamto prepare and review sub-contracts.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree-qualifiedin Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.

  • 10+ years' experiencein a similar role withinUtilities, Civil Engineering, Oil & Gas, or M&E industries.

  • Strongcommercial acumenandnumerical analysis skills.

  • Proven ability towork under pressureandmeet tight deadlines.

  • Excellentstakeholder managementandinfluencing skills.

  • Sound understanding of standard forms of contract (e.g.NEC, JCT, FIDIC).

  • Flexibility to travelto project sites as required.
