This company is a well established commercial builder who have become a leader within their field delivering specialist commercial projects ranging from 1m up to 30m.
The projects are varied & engaging and the business has developed a real reputation for quality. Through this they have made strong relationships with a blue chip client list with the majority of work secured by way of repeat business, providing a stable and consistent pipeline.
Due to planned growth they are now looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Glasgow.
The role will include
- Full commercial management of projects up to 30 million
- Cost planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
- Valuations, variations and final accounts
- Working closely with site and project teams to drive commercial performance
- Reporting into senior commercial management
About you
- Proven experience within general contracting across a range of projects
- Degree in Quantity Surveying/Equivalent
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
