Our client is a successful multi-modal freight forwarder based in Lanarkshire, and they are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their national sales team.
To be considered, you will have a proven track record in freight forwarding sales, with a history of achieving annual gross profits exceeding £100,000. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue across road, sea, and air freight services.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and grow a portfolio of new and existing clients
Identify and convert new business opportunities
Meet and exceed gross profit targets
Collaborate with operations to ensure service excellence
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in freight sales (multi-modal preferred)
Proven ability to generate and maintain over £100k in gross profit annually
Strong industry network and commercial awareness
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
