iMultiply is delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with a high-growth software and services business in their search for a Finance Assistant to join their team in Glasgow.

The Role

As part of a wider transformation and growth journey, the business is looking to appoint a Finance Assistant into their established team in Glasgow. This is a full-time, permanent role offering varied day-to-day responsibility, exposure to international operations, and the opportunity to contribute to ongoing process improvements.

The role will suit someone who enjoys hands-on transactional finance work, is confident working with systems, and is keen to develop within a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the full accounts payable and receivable cycle
  • Completing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate records
  • Processing staff expenses and assisting with monthly reporting
  • Uploading and maintaining data within the accounting system (Sage Intacct)
  • Supporting the month-end close and ad hoc finance tasks
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure accurate reporting

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll bring:

  • At least 18 months’ experience in a finance support role
  • Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
  • A proactive mindset and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with accounting systems (Sage Intacct experience is a bonus)
  • An interest in developing your career within finance
  • Studying AAT or planning to pursue a qualification such as ACCA (beneficial but not essential)
