We are seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant for a temporary position in Sports industry, based in Glasgow. The successful candidate will support the Accounting & Finance department, ensuring accurate financial processes and records.

Description

  • Assisting with financial reports and ensuring all financial data is accurate.
  • Providing support to the Accounting & Finance department in managing, processing, and troubleshooting various accounts and transactions.
  • Collating and entering data into databases, ensuring that records are complete and current.
  • Reviewing and adhering to department budgets.
  • Processing invoices and following up on payment.
  • Preparing monthly financial reports.
  • Reconciling any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees and/or clients.
  • Performing other duties as needed to support the Accounting & Finance department.

Profile

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

  • A strong understanding of accounting and financial principles.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with financial software.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
