Fire Alarm Engineer

Salary: 35,000 - 43,000 + Overtime + Company Van + Fuel Card + Training

An established and highly regarded fire safety solutions provider is looking to recruit an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to support its expanding operations across Glasgow and the Central Belt.

The company delivers design, installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems across commercial, industrial, and high-end residential environments and is known for investing heavily in its engineers through training, support, and career development.

As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and fault-finding of a wide range of fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with BS5839 and delivering a professional on-site service to clients.

• Service, maintain, and fault-find addressable and conventional fire alarm systems

• Work on leading fire alarm brands including Gent, Kentec, C-Tec, Advanced, Hochiki, Menvier, and Ziton

• Diagnose faults, replace components, and restore systems efficiently

• Carry out functional testing and complete accurate service reports

• Provide a professional and customer-focused service on-site

• Manage your own workload, van stock, and documentation

• Work independently while being supported by a strong engineering team

• Proven experience in fire alarm servicing, maintenance, or commissioning

• Solid understanding of current fire alarm regulations and standards

• Experience working with multiple fire alarm panels (training provided where required)

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Full UK driving licence

• ECS or FIA training advantageous but not essential

• Competitive salary 35,000 - 43,000 (DOE)
