Known for their incredible mental health support services, I'm excited to share that my client are introducing a new branch in Glasgow. My client are looking for a skilled manager, with experience in a mental health or similar setting, to join their team.


Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a successful team, promoting inclusivity and a compassionate understanding of each individuals working ability.
* Create and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, partners, groups and organisations.
* Budget management.
* Ensure high quality support meeting standard set by healthcare bodies.
* Create and implement policies and procedures across a variety of business needs.
* Support the recruitment and retention of staff. Participate in the implementation of training.
* Always making an effort in continuous professional development.
* Ensure compliance is met in legislation that protect vulnerable individuals from harm.


Requirements
* Proven experience working with those living with mental health problems.
* Qualification in mental health, social care or similar.
* Compassionate and caring individual, understanding of obstacles the individuals may experience.
* Understanding of diversity and inclusion.
* Communication skills.
* IT skills.
* Knowledge of research carried out in relation to individuals living with a mental health diagnosis.


The successful candidate will report into the Senior Service Manager in a new service delivering immediate access to tailored support. My client strongly believe everyone should have access to mental health support whenever they need it and plan to continue in their expansions in an growing efforts to create positive change.
