  • Key responsibilities include mixed signal design, microcontroller-based system design, and prototyping, with an emphasis on collaboration with optical and mechanical teams.
  • This position provides an opportunity for professional growth and the chance to contribute to innovative projects in a supportive environment.

We are seeking a senior or lead Electronics Engineer to join a growing and dynamic engineering team focused on cutting-edge technology projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, contributing to the design, development, and support of advanced electronic systems.

You’ll be responsible for hands-on electronic design, working alongside other engineering disciplines including optical and mechanical teams, while also mentoring junior engineers and supporting them technically as needed. The role provides a unique chance to be part of both sustaining product efforts and new R&D initiatives, with the opportunity to develop prototypes, tackle complex system-level challenges, and deliver production-ready solutions.

The environment is fast-moving, offering engineers exposure to a broad variety of technical work and full visibility over the lifecycle of innovative products—from concept to production and beyond. The team fosters a supportive and collaborative culture, ideal for engineers who enjoy problem-solving, learning, and contributing to highly technical projects.

This role is suited to experienced engineers who are passionate about electronics, looking to deepen their technical expertise, and interested in mentoring others without fully stepping into a managerial path.

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong analogue and digital circuit design experience (op-amp circuits essential)
Full product lifecycle exposure – from concept, requirements, design, and prototyping through to production
Mixed signal design and control (e.g. laser diode or motor control, PID tuning)
Microcontroller-based system design (STM32/STM series preferred)
Experience with PCB schematic capture and layout
Understanding of DFT (Design for Test) and DFM (Design for Manufacture) principles
EMC compliance and design considerations
Practical prototyping skills including soldering and debugging
Degree-qualified in Electronics or a related field
Ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams
Comfortable supporting junior engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing

Desirable Skills and Experience:

Exposure to Verilog for FPGA development
Experience working in fast-paced commercial environments
Familiarity with optical or mechanical integration in system design
Experience with sustaining engineering for production products
Knowledge of embedded systems integration and firmware interaction

We are open to both senior and lead-level candidates. For lead roles, approximately 70–80% of the role will remain hands-on during early-stage development, shifting to more mentorship as projects mature. Flexibility is offered based on project stage and team needs.

This role is ideally suited to candidates with 5–15 years of relevant experience, with opportunity for progression into principal-level engineering. Relocation support may be available for candidates moving from other regions.
