Our client based in North Lanarkshire are looking to recruited Support Workers on a temporary to permanent basis. This role is ideal for candidates who have a genuine interest in providing support within home settings to individuals with diverse needs. You will assist with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and accompanying individuals to appointments and activities they enjoy. A driving licence is essential as you will need to travel between locations.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide compassionate support in daily activities including cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
  • Accompany individuals to appointments and engage in activities or hobbies they enjoy.
  • Work closely with individuals, catering to their different interests and needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Compassion and kindness with a genuine interest in supporting others.
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities.
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and the ability to apply transferable life skills to support and enable individuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills driven by positive outcomes.
  • Resilience, reliability, and excellent listening skills.
  • A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
