Role Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join the East Kilbride team. This is a mixed role involving both site-based asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a range of domestic, commercial, and industrial environments, ensuring full compliance with current legislation and industry guidance.



Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in line with HSG264

  • Carry out air monitoring, four-stage clearances, leak testing, smoke testing, and reassurance sampling

  • Produce accurate and detailed survey and analytical reports

  • Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams

  • Ensure all works comply with current HSE guidance, legislation, and UKAS procedures

  • Maintain high technical standards and contribute positively to team development



Requirements

  • BOHS P402, P403, and P404 (or equivalent)

  • Demonstrable experience in both asbestos surveying and analytical duties within a UKAS-accredited consultancy

  • Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and compliance

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Full UK driving licence
