Role Overview
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join the East Kilbride team. This is a mixed role involving both site-based asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a range of domestic, commercial, and industrial environments, ensuring full compliance with current legislation and industry guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in line with HSG264
Carry out air monitoring, four-stage clearances, leak testing, smoke testing, and reassurance sampling
Produce accurate and detailed survey and analytical reports
Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Ensure all works comply with current HSE guidance, legislation, and UKAS procedures
Maintain high technical standards and contribute positively to team development
Requirements
BOHS P402, P403, and P404 (or equivalent)
Demonstrable experience in both asbestos surveying and analytical duties within a UKAS-accredited consultancy
Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and compliance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Full UK driving licence
