Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a Service Technician for one of our clients based in Glasgow (Kinning Park) area. This is a long-term entry level temporary position with immediate start available after successful interview.
Working days/Hours:
- Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm. Friday 8am to 3.30pm (35h a week)
Pay rate:
- 12.60ph
Duties:
- To perform calibration and testing on instrumentation.
- To assemble instrumentation and test.
- To ensure all instruments are identified correctly.
- To carry out tagging as required.
- To engage with the Service team to provide proactive support.
- To ensure all service works are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
- To produce, maintain and be responsible for content, accuracy and sign off of log books.
- To understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
- To assist warehouse activities during busy periods.
- To understand and comply with policies and procedures.
- To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Attention to detail.
- Questioning and listening skills.
- Numeracy and literacy skills.
- Planning / organising abilities.
- Confident interpersonal and communication skills.
