Maxwell Consultancy are working with an established, global engineering business in their search for Welders. These are full - time permanent positions working from their state of the art facility in Glasgow. The business is going from strength to strength and have an extremely healthy order book. Making vital components for the Oil & Gas, Nuclear and Water industries.
What's required?
- Apprenticeship / time -Â served Welder
- TIG, MIG and MMA welding processes (training provided)
- Pipework welder
- Pipefitter experience beneficial but not essential
- ASME IX, BS EN 15609/15614 Level considered.
- Fabricate and weld pipework to drawing specifications and to planned schedule as directed by line manager
- Working to WPSs ,Health and safety and Welds up to Xray Quality
- Work closely with NDT department
What to expect?

Overtime available – 1.5 weekdays and then 1.66 weekend for over 37 contractual basic hours per week

Pension – 6% employer contribution, 4% employee

Life Cover – 3 x salary, subject to joining the pension

Manufacturing Bonus – 3% of salary if site manufacturing targets hit and paid quarterly

Holidays – 33 days including statutory holidays, with the option to buy an additional 3 days or sell 3 days back to the company

Working hours – 7.45am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 7.45am to 11.45am on Fridays
