Finance Assistant
 
We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Infrastructure Services business for a Finance Assistant to work as part of our Finance Team to ensure accurate and timely cost capture. Based mainly as hybrid working and in our Glastonbury depot, the position reports to the Accountant.
 
Key Accountabilities
 
·Collation and capturing of costs in relation to external and internal plant
·Registering and matching supplier invoices using CPA (a costing system)
·Enter Material Goods Received Notes (Grn's) against Purchase Orders
·Liaising with the procurement manager for material and plant prices
·Liaise with operations, commercial and client teams on discrepancies to resolve queries
·Provide cover for other members of the Finance Team as required.
·General Administration duties.
·Management of Microsoft mailboxes
 
 
Working Environment
 
·You will report to the Accountant and be part of the Finance team of 2 staff
 
Liaison with:
·Internal - Commercial team, Operations team, Design Team, Business Director and Head Office staff
·External - Clients, Suppliers & Subcontractors

Qualifications
 
Knowledge and Experience
·Good written and verbal communication skills.
·Enthusiastic and keen to learn and develop.
·Positive and proactive attitude.
·Strong admin and organisational skills.
·Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
·IT proficient including experience of MS Office, with some Excel skills
·Experience in Purchase Ledger/Accounts essential.
