Graduate Ground Investigation Technician

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate with a ground investigation background or degree to join a South West based team of geotechnical and geo-environmental specialists on a range of projects. You'll be provided with the opportunity to work closely with the team and develop ground investigation skills, a great way to kick-start your career.

This Graduate Ground Investigation Technician role offers:

The successful Graduate Ground Investigation Technician will be:

  • Taking soil samples for assessment.
  • Groundwater and gas monitoring.
  • Carrying out contamination analysis and soakaway testing.
  • Carrying out groundwork and assisting geotechnical engineers on projects.
  • Working outdoors in all conditions, with lifting and heavy duty conditions to acknowledge.

To be considered for this Graduate Ground Investigation Technician role you should hold a full UK driving licence (as travelling to sites will be frequent), be commutable or living in the Glastonbury area, have a degree in geology, geotechnical engineering, earth sciences or a similar relevant subject, have a full right to work in the UK and be willing to work in all demanding conditions.
