Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Finance Administrator on a permanent basis due to growth to cover their Gloucester branch.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up new contracts with customers, ensuring customer details and appropriate payment terms.
  • Process payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into the business finance system.
  • Ensure all documentation is added onto the business finance system including supplier invoices, purchase invoices, remittances, statements, payments, expenses, reconciliation.
  • Send reminders to customers for invoices due.
  • Assist with Payroll.
  • Deal with enquiries from customers, ensuring customers receive invoices and dealing with invoice enquiries.
  • Answer phone calls in to the office, give great service to our clients and log new enquiries on our business system
  • Administration of supplier and customer accounts
  • Ensure all of the business finance system data is correct and up to date for year end accounts to be processed


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Have excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Able to prioritise and plan own workload
  • Be efficient
  • Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Have extensive experience within Finance
  • Work well independently and under their own initiative to meet deadlines
  • Show initiative and takes personal responsibility for completing tasks
  • Experienced in using Excel
  • Excellent time keeping skills
  • Be friendly and approachable
