We are working with a forward-thinking civil and structural engineering consultancy to help them with their search for a talented Associate Structural Engineer. Our client is offering one professional the opportunity to join their engineering team, on a permanent basis, to work to a hybrid working arrangement, with frequent office presence in Gloucester. This dynamic firm are looking for an individual who has the skill and the drive to design and deliver a variety of structural systems, across a range of sectors.

Responsibilities:
-Produce intricate structural system designs, seeing them from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to client expectations, requirements, and general specifications.
-Support, and oversee, the collation of detailed structural works, including calculations, analyses, reports, and drawings, ensuring industry regulation and standard compliance.
-Collaborate with professional project teams, varying in disciplines and seniority, to ensure accurate issue identification and resolution, cost efficiency, and sustainability.
-Assist with site assessments by conducting regular feasibility studies, site visits and inspections, whilst supporting project delivery by providing insights and guidance.
-Provide ongoing support, through guidance and mentorship, to junior engineers, allowing for professional development, smooth project delivery, and best practice.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Structural and/or Civil Engineering, or a related field, ideally with an obtained Chartered Engineer status.
-Profound experience as an Associate Structural Engineer, or similar, delivering and overseeing intricate structural works for various projects, across a range of sectors.
-Significant understanding of the design and delivery of structural systems, with a proficiency in relevant software tools and resources, such as Revit, Robot, and Tekla.
-Significant acknowledgment of UK industry codes, regulations, standards, and key legislation, with an understanding of sustainability strategies and industry best practice.
-Continuous forward-thinking and problem-solving mindset, with effective communication, mentoring, and team management skills.
