Contract Assembly Technician

Location: Gloucester

Duration: 3 months+

Rate: 25 - 28 per hour (Inside IR35)

An opportunity has opened for a Contract Assembly Technician to join an electronic manufacturing company based in Gloucester. The ideal candidate will have excellent IPC soldering experience (IPC 610 and J-STD ideally) and will have experience of PCB rework.

Contract Assembly Technician Key Skills:

• PCB Assembly and soldering
• IPC 610 and J-STD experience
• PCB rework and repairs
• Any wiring and cable work would be a bonus but not essential
• Aerospace of Defence industry experience would be a bonus

Contract Assembly Technician Responsibilities:

• Providing PCB assembly and soldering support for the manufacturing department
• Working to IPC standards
• Performing rework duties on faulty PCBs
• Checking and inspecting of your own work
• Some basic wiring and cabling
