Were currently recruiting a Class 2 HGV Skip Driver to work with a well-established, independent business working out of a remote site in St Oswalds in Gloucester. This is a long-term role with the potential to extend beyond 4 months.
The Role:
- Drive and operate Class 2 skip lorries
- Complete multi-drop collections and deliveries across the local area
- Carry out tipping duties safely and efficiently
- Load/unload skips and complete daily paperwork
- Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude
- UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience with skip lorries and tipping (essential)
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- A reliable and professional approach to work
- No more than 9 points for minor offences
- £16.00 per hour + holiday pay
- Guaranteed 9 hours' pay per day
- Fixed weekday hours no nights or weekends
