Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The work will involve making stud walls in the factory on site. Applicants must be fully qualified. Long term work available for the right candidates.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and be capable of executing various tasks with precision and attention to detail. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial builds, renovations, and repairs. The Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools.
Assemble and install cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures.
Perform roofing tasks including framing and finishing.
Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square to meet project specifications.
Conduct repairs on existing structures as needed.
Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, hammers) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills).
Strong skills in joinery techniques and painting finishes.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job tasks.
Familiarity with electrical installations is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
