Injection Mould Toolmaker with CNC Programming knowledge for a well-established tooling specialist with a company history of over 20 years. The company specialises in plastic injection moulding for a variety of industries and offers a friendly, cohesive working environment.
You will need experience with Fusion CAM and further training on this can be provided.
The successful candidate will join a small toolmaking team and will be involved in CNC programming, machining, surface grinding, spark eroding, and bench work to manufacture new tooling, as well as repairs and modifications to existing tooling. There will also be a requirement for jigs and fixtures to assist production as well as small batch CNC parts.
The Injection Mould Toolmaker Role:
* Injection mould toolmaking and machining.
* Tool repair and modification.
* Manufacture jigs and fixtures for production.
* Using CAD designs to set up, operate and programme CNC machines using Fusion to produce components.
* Aluminium and steel tooling.
* Small Batch CNC Production.
The Successful Candidate:
* Apprentice trained or equivalent Toolmaker.
* Injection moulding background.
* Experience with Fusion CAM.
* Experience reading engineering drawings.
Advantageous:
* Conversationally program Hurco controls
* Cobot programming
