Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team focused on reducing road traffic casualties.
  • Design, implement, and oversee road safety schemes and policies.
  • Conduct data analysis, including collision data and speed management.
  • Provide safety reviews for highway design proposals.
  • Conduct Road Safety Audits in compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage project budgets, providing regular updates and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop road safety solutions.
  • Support and mentor team members, fostering a positive team environment.

About You:

  • Strong understanding of the Safe System approach to road safety.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and leading road safety projects.
  • Expertise in collision data analysis and problem-solving for road safety.
  • Qualified to undertake Road Safety Audits.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
