Commercial Account Handler

£30,000k bonus
The successful candidate will have commercial insurance broking experience. It is a busy role consisting of servicing, renewing and growing a book of smaller commercial and landlord clients, so you will need to be very organised! Ideal candidate would have 2 years commercial broking experience, be an Acturis user, have as a minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 or above including English and Maths, and be Cert CII qualified (or at least prepared to undertake the Cert).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Service, retain, and grow a varied portfolio of personal insurance clients
- Handle policies across home, motor, travel, and our exclusive Parksure scheme (holiday lodges, park homes, static caravans)
- Manage servicing requirements including renewals, amendments, and claims support
- Maintain regular client contact to ensure cover continues to meet their needs
- Ensure compliance with FCA and ICOB requirements at all times
- Monitor and manage customer credit within agreed company limits
What We’re Looking For
- GCSEs (or equivalent) with minimum 5 grades 4 or above including English and Maths
- Cert CII qualification (or willingness to study towards it)
- Insurance knowledge—principles, practices, and legalities of General Insurance
- Experience in personal lines, ideally within a broker environment
- IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) with Acturis experience desirable
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organisational skills
