Outreach Support Worker - Gloucester & Cheltenham

Based in Gloucester (near train station) | 12.94 per hour | Full-time or part-time | Immediate start

We are currently seeking a Temporary Outreach Support Worker to join our dedicated team supporting vulnerable adults and individuals with complex needs across Gloucester and Cheltenham. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Details:

  • Location: Gloucester (office near train station) & Cheltenham
  • Rate of Pay: 12.94 per hour
  • Hours: Ideally 37.5 hours per week (flexible options considered)
  • Schedule: Outreach operates 7 days per week
  • Shifts: Earliest start is 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: Open-ended temporary role, minimum 2 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering outreach support alongside a staff member to vulnerable adults
  • Engaging with individuals experiencing complex needs and challenging behaviours
  • Promoting independence and ensuring clients access the appropriate services
  • Working collaboratively within a rota that includes early morning shifts and weekends

Requirements:

  • Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or individuals with complex needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A flexible and compassionate approach to care

Desirable:

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Willingness to participate in early morning outreach shifts (from 6:30 AM)
