Your Role:
As a CNC Setter/Operator on the night shift, you'll play a key part in delivering high-precision parts to exacting standards. Your responsibilities will include:
Setting and operating CNC machines to produce precision components
Conducting detailed quality inspections using advanced measurement tools
Working to tight tolerances (within +/- 5 microns)
Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety protocols
Supporting team productivity and process improvements
Engaging in continuous training and skills enhancement
Who We're Looking For:
Essential Skills:
Strong understanding of machine tools and metric measurements
High attention to detail and strong near vision
Ability to work with fine tolerances and complex specifications
A reliable team player with solid communication skills
Desirable (but not essential):
Prior experience in CNC or machining roles
Willingness to learn - full training is provided
Technology You'll Use:
Advanced CNC machinery
High-precision metrology and measuring tools
Shift Pattern:
This is a night shift role with a rotating 6-6 pattern:
Week 1: Five 12-hour night shifts
Week 2: Two 12-hour night shifts
This schedule provides extended blocks of time off across the fortnight, supporting better work-life balance.
