Straight-Line is currently hiring a CNC Turner/Programmer in Gloucester.
This is a permanent position joining an established precision engineering team. You will be working on Fanuc Controls - Doosan, Live Tooling, Small Batch Work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting, and operating Doosan CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
- Working with live tooling for small batch, high-accuracy components.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure tight tolerances.
- Involved in the full process: from programming through to final inspection.
- Working to deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
Person Specification:
- Strong experience in CNC turning and programming using Fanuc controls.
- Confident with Doosan machines and live tooling operations.
- Able to produce small batch, one-off and prototype components
