Techniche Global are supporting an engineering defence contractor to appoint Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex defence and engineering projects at a secure site in Gloucestershire.?? Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire?? Type: Full-Time | Permanent?? Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits?? Clearance Required: Current DV (Developed Vetting)This role is part of a busy and well-established Project Management Office that delivers a wide range of government contracts and operational programmes in the ISTAR and Cyber sectors. You’ll be responsible for leading the full delivery of complex projects, from start to finish, while managing a team of project managers and support staff.Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the delivery of engineering projects through all stages—from planning to completion
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, performance, and resources
  • Making sure all work is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Putting in place effective controls for managing risk, finances, and project changes
  • Leading and supporting your team with workload planning, recruitment, and day-to-day management
  • Reporting progress and performance clearly to senior leaders and directors
Required Qualifications & Clearance
  • A recognised project management qualification (e.g., APM PMQ, PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent)
  • Current DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance – essential
  • Must be a sole UK national to meet clearance requirements
