Salary: 50,000 - 70,000

I am working with a leading organisation that is delivering innovative data solutions to support complex, high-impact projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding assignments where you will design and build scalable data pipelines and platforms that enable rapid prototyping and delivery of data-driven solutions. Please note: candidates must hold active SC clearance for this role.

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing end-to-end data solutions, collaborating closely with stakeholders such as data scientists, analysts, and product owners. This is a hands-on role where you will build bespoke data pipelines, develop user-facing applications, and ensure robust governance and best practices across all data processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and maintaining end-to-end data projects aligned with modern best practices.
  • Building and managing ingestion pipelines for diverse data sources.
  • Developing user-facing applications and integrating APIs into processing pipelines.
  • Applying governance, security, and scheduling best practices across data environments.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong proficiency in Python or similar programming languages.
  • Awareness of APIs for data retrieval and integration.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and requirements gathering.
  • Understanding of pipeline scheduling and health checks.
