Location: Gloucester, UK

Salary: 28,000 - 35,000 (up to 40,000 for exceptional experience). Our salaries are for the right people based on experience and skill.

Join PAC, a friendly and growing automation specialist based in Gloucestershire. We install, maintain and repair automated gates, vehicle barriers, bollards, and roller garage doors across the region. Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned maintenance and repairs on automated gates, barriers, bollards, and garage doors
  • Fault find and perform reactive maintenance on automation systems
  • Install, commission and troubleshoot intercom and access control equipment
  • Complete all job documentation accurately using company systems
  • Manage your time efficiently to deliver a high-quality service to clients

General Expectations:

  • Attend in-house and manufacturer training sessions
  • Follow Health & Safety guidelines to ensure personal and team safety
  • Communicate job progress with the operations team
  • Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues
  • Represent the company positively on every site

Personal Requirements:

  • Full/valid manual driving licence
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar electrical or mechanical maintenance role (or proven practical aptitude)
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Logical problem-solving and technical skills
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable and able to plan and work independently
  • Confident communicator with staff and clients
  • Basic welding skills desirable but not essential

Working Conditions & Benefits:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30 (with flexibility for overtime)
  • Field-based role with occasional office visits
