My client is looking for an Electrical biased maintenance engineer (fitter) to join their team of experienced maintenance engineers, working primarily with the electrical issues across various machinery, no two days will be the same! This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical maintenance engineer to take on a new challenge within a busy environment working on both preplanned and reactive maintenance.
Title – Electrical Maintenance Engineer (fitter)
Reporting to –Maintenance ManagerLocation - Bentham Salary - £33,000 - £36,000 plus Shift allowance, over time paid at 1.5 and x2, 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, Life insurance, Pension and Sick pay scheme.
Hours of work- 37.5 hours a week (day shift pattern)
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Complete PPM and reactive maintenance work.
- Follow HSE guideline and company processes.
- Provide support and technical assistance to other departments and team members when required.
- Carrying out mechanical maintenance repairs on a range of machinery.
- Complete all required documentation of maintenance work correctly.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering/maintenance or similar.
- Have good understanding of Electrics and be mechanically minded.
- Have 17th/18th Edition.
- An understanding of 3 phase electrical components, variable speed drives and PLC instrumentation is advantageous.
- Having experience working within a similar position is advantageous.
- Experience of fault finding and trouble shooting.
- Have a good HSE understanding.
- Team player.
- A want to learn and improve as an engineer.
- Good communication skills – verbally and written.
