Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Head of Operations you will:
- Assisting with planned inspection and maintenance according to legal, technical, manufacturer and contractual requirements. Learning around reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and standard operating procedures
- Performing reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution in a timely manner
- Carrying out site surveys requests as required
- Compiling accurate and appropriate documentation for both internal and external stakeholders in a precise and timely manner
- Keeping accurate and detailed records of electrical testing, High Voltage and safety documents that are suitable for audit
- Ensuring that work output meets technical quality, reliability, cost, and productivity
- Complying with the company Health & Safety Policy
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualifications or equivalent
- C&G 2391 Testing and Inspection
- 17th/18th (preferably) edition wiring regulations
- Ideally at least a year's experience from within in a maintenance work in either an industrial, commercial or even domestic capacity
- Full UK licence
Personal skills
The Field Service Engineer role would suit someone who is:
- Keen to get into renewables A real passion for renewable technologies such as solar PV, battery storage etc
- Happy to travel around to sites in a field-based role

- Salary of between 30,000 to 36,000 Depending on experience
- Overtime and on call weekends on rota.
