SF Executive are partnered with a private equity backed organisation based in Gloucestershire who are seeking a Head of Transaction Finance. Reporting to the CFO, The Head of Transaction Finance will play a key role in supporting the business through a period of change and growth. Initial objectives will be to support the design and roll out of a common ERP solution and amalgamate and simplify the team structure.
You will be responsible for the following duties (but not limited to):
- Lead and manage the transactional finance team, ensuring delivery of efficient and high-quality services across the business
- Support the successful implementation of a new ERP system across multiple sites – managing timelines, stakeholders, and change impact
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across transactional finance to enhance process efficiency and service delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardise procedures and improve data integrity and reporting
- Embed a culture of performance, accountability, and customer service
- Support integration of newly acquired entities
The successful Head of Transaction Finance will be a qualified finance professional (ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA or equivalent) who is an experienced transformation specialist in this field with the majority of the following attributes.
- Proven experience in leading a transactional finance team within an industrial environment
- Demonstrable experience in ERP implementation – ideally within a multi-site organisation
- Strong track record of process improvement, cost efficiency, and service transformation
- Inspirational people leader with the ability to manage change and bring people on the journey
- Commercially astute, hands-on, and comfortable in a fast-paced, PE-backed setting
