Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day quality activities and manage the Production Quality team.
- Implement and standardise quality tools and processes across all value streams.
- Ensure effective use of APQP, PFMEA, and control plans in production.
- Drive quality improvements using SPC, OEE, and right-first-time performance measures.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) from a quality engineering perspective.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action using tools like 8D, PPS, DMAIC.
- Manage production scrap through MRB processes.
- Support supplier quality issue resolution.
- Maintain and develop quality procedures and policies.
- Report on quality KPIs and contribute to annual improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 Rev D, regulatory standards, and audit schedules.
- Stay up to date with advancements in quality management practices.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong background in Quality Engineering within AS9100 Rev D environments.
- Proficiency in APQP, PPAP, PSW, FAIR, ISIR, SPC, and Control Plans.
- Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.
- Strong knowledge of process safety, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects in a fast-paced setting.
