What You Will Do:

- Manage end-to-end payroll processing of monthly payroll, including starters, leavers, bonuses, benefits, holiday pay, and statutory payments.

- Ensure accuracy of employee records within Sage payroll, including personal details, pay rates, and deductions.

- Manage year-end process, including P60s, P11Ds, and HMRC submissions.

- Liaise with external payroll providers in Europe and the USA to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.

- Line manage the Payroll Officer, providing guidance, training, and development support.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive efficiency within the payroll function.

What You Will Bring:

- Proven payroll experience in a medium or large company, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.

- Expertise in Sage Payroll systems is essential.

- Comprehensive knowledge of HMRC UK tax legislation.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
