Our client, a leader in the aerospace industry, is currently seeking a dedicated Environmental, Chemical & HSE Advisor to join their team. This permanent role is based on-site full-time at their site in Gloucester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive environmental compliance and improvement initiatives across the site
- Promote and uphold health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Conduct regular health, safety, and environmental audits and inspections
- Ensure the effective implementation of COSHH management
- Facilitate and coordinate emergency response plans
- Communicate effectively across the organisation to ensure HSE policies are understood and adhered to
- Partake in monthly weekend water testing
Job Requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Chemical expertise and COSHH management skills
- Ability to work independently and flexibly with a high degree of confidentiality
- Effective communication skills across all organisational levels
- Flexibility to partake in 1 weekend monthly water test
- Preferred: NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)
- Desired: Minimum of IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management (or equivalent)
