  • GCSEs in English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
  • Recognised IT qualification and relevant experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident using ICT hardware and software, with a willingness to learn new systems

Nice to Have’s

  • Experience supporting AV equipment, stage lighting, or telecoms
  • Familiarity with school systems such as access control and CCTV
  • Knowledge of Data Protection principles in IT environments
  • Prior experience within a school environment

So, what will you be doing?

  • Maintain, repair and install IT and AV equipment for staff and students
  • Provide first- and second-line technical support
  • Set up and maintain user accounts, install software, and update network permissions
  • Support IT use during assemblies, meetings, open evenings, and presentations (including occasional out-of-hours work)
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock tracking and fixed asset register updates
  • Work with third-party providers for complex repairs, CCTV maintenance, and access control systems
