CHP Maintenance Engineer

Neos Engineering are partnered with a well-established and industry-leading provider of critical power and energy efficiency solutions, supporting clients across the UK. Due to continued growth and demand, they are looking to add a skilled CHP Maintenance Engineer to their field-based team, covering the South West and surrounding regions.

The Role
  • Carry out planned maintenance and servicing on CHP systems ranging from 30kW to 500kW.

  • Respond to breakdowns as the first point of contact, carrying out diagnostic and corrective work.

  • Work with electrical and mechanical systems, including LTHW, pumps, inverters, and BMS.

  • Utilise control and monitoring software such as Comap, TEM, and DSE.

  • Complete detailed site reports and communicate regularly with the wider service team.

  • Travel throughout the UK with flexibility for overnight stays when required.

  • Ensure safe working practices, complete risk assessments, and maintain strong customer relationships.

The Candidate
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in CHP servicing or a similar field-based engineering role.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, particularly with LV power systems and LTHW circuits.

  • Confident using software tools for diagnostics and control (e.g. Comap PC Suite, DSE Configuration Suite).

  • IEE 18th Edition qualified and holding a relevant mechanical or electrical engineering qualification.

  • Excellent communicator with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.

  • Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

  • Flexible with travel and overnight stays.
