My client, a leading provider of workspace solutions with over two decades of industry expertise are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee things across one of its key sites. This role is crucial to ensuring facilities run efficiently, remain compliant, and deliver value to customers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Solid background in facilities or property management across multiple sites with a strong focus on customer service
  • In-depth understanding of health & safety legislation and statutory compliance obligations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead remote teams and manage external contractors to high standards
  • Strong skills in organisation, administration, and financial control, particularly around maintenance budgets

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe, compliant, and cost-efficient environment across the assigned site
  • Supervise and support on-site maintenance staff while managing outsourced service providers
  • Ensure full adherence to statutory requirements including gas safety, fire protection, asbestos control, and electrical systems
  • Work closely with centre managers to enhance occupancy rates, oversee maintenance plans, and drive overall operational performance
