The Project Engineer (Mechanical / E&I) is responsible for the successful delivery of custom-built compressor packages to industrial clients, managing projects from initiation through to completion while acting as the primary technical and commercial interface.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end delivery of custom-built compressor packages, acting as the main point of contact for client interfacing throughout the project lifecycle.

Plan, schedule, control, and monitor project activities to meet critical milestones and deadlines.

Liaise directly with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are fully understood and met, including:

In-house specifications

Regulatory and compliance requirements

Material and design standards (e.g. ASME VIII, PD5500)

Electrical and instrumentation industry standards

Resolve technical and commercial issues, identifying practical solutions while protecting business interests.

Prepare project-specific project management plans in line with client requirements.

Produce and maintain accurate internal and external project reports.

Guide and coordinate the design team to ensure drawings meet project specifications and support production activities.

Raise purchase orders for structural, piping, controls, and instrumentation equipment in line with specifications and budget constraints.

Work closely with Production and QHSE teams to prioritise and schedule manufacturing, build, and testing activities, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Education -
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, demonstrable industry experience in a similar role.
