Mechanical Fitter

Day shift, M-F – Full time - Permanent – Gloucester. £35,000 to £40,000

Due to growth, my clients, require an experienced mechanical fitter with Building Services/ HVAC experience to carry out in house assembly of packaged plant rooms and Skid assemblies. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate clear understanding of P&ID drawings and both GA and assembly drawings to enable the on-time delivery of high-profile offsite packages.

The Person:

·        Able to read CAD drawings and 3D models

·        Working with ferrous and non-ferrous pipe work

·        Use of pipe threading machinery

·        Use of pipe crimping tools

·        Competent use of hand tools

·        Competent use of hand power tools

·        Competent in the use of pipe fittings and installation methods

·        Knowledge of pump installation methods and best practise

·        Ability to work at height

·        Knowledge of G3 installation. (Hot Water Systems)

·        Knowledge of air/hydraulic pressure testing
