Temporary Administrative Support Officer
Location: Gloucester - GL1
Start Date: 3rd November 2025
Contract Length: 6 months (end date currently May 2026)
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm) Pay rate: 13.73 per hour
Work Arrangement: Fully onsite (free parking available on a first-come, first-served basis)

Are you highly organised, detail-focused and experienced in administration or customer service?
We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals to join the First Registrations Support Team on a 6-month temporary assignment, supporting essential operational and administrative tasks.

About the Role

As an Administrative Support Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth handling of applications and providing vital clerical support to the wider team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Distributing and allocating applications to the appropriate teams
  • Liaising with operational teams to escalate applications when necessary
  • Maintaining and updating application tracking lists
  • Performing local scanning and printing tasks
  • Handling customer correspondence when required
  • Accurately recording actions using the Points Arising Screen (PAS) system
  • Supporting process improvements by identifying recurring issues or gaps in documentation
  • Completing general administrative duties as needed
