Occupational Therapist
Location: Gloucestershire
Pay: £35p/h Umbrella
Hours: 3 days per week
Contract: Ongoing contract until March 2026 initially.
Our Local Authority client are recruiting an Occupational Therapist for their service in Gloucestershire.
Key responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality Occupational Therapy reports for EHCP assessments, outlining needs, outcomes, and required provision.
- Deliver tailored therapy to children with diverse developmental, sensory, physical, and emotional needs.
- Work with education professionals to deliver indirect therapy and workforce development where appropriate.
- Provide evidence-based services in line with UK standards across school and community settings.
- Give specialist written advice and represent the local authority at SENDIST appeals or in professional discussions with other OTs.
Requirements:
- Must hold valid HCPC registration and be members of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
- Minimum of 5 years of paediatric Occupational Therapy experience, including experience in writing reports for EHCP assessments.
- Significant experience of working with children with neurodiverse needs.
