Occupational Therapist

Location: Gloucestershire

Pay: £35p/h Umbrella

Hours: 3 days per week

Contract: Ongoing contract until March 2026 initially.

Our Local Authority client are recruiting an Occupational Therapist for their service in Gloucestershire.

Key responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality Occupational Therapy reports for EHCP assessments, outlining needs, outcomes, and required provision.
  • Deliver tailored therapy to children with diverse developmental, sensory, physical, and emotional needs.
  • Work with education professionals to deliver indirect therapy and workforce development where appropriate.
  • Provide evidence-based services in line with UK standards across school and community settings.
  • Give specialist written advice and represent the local authority at SENDIST appeals or in professional discussions with other OTs.

Requirements:

  • Must hold valid HCPC registration and be members of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Minimum of 5 years of paediatric Occupational Therapy experience, including experience in writing reports for EHCP assessments.
  • Significant experience of working with children with neurodiverse needs.
