Payroll Specialist, �28-32K, 3-6 months (potential for conversion to a permanent position) Gloucester with very flexible working from home arrangements available
Toner Graham are recruiting for a position in an international Gloucester-based business for an experienced Payroll Specialist.
Responsible for processing and auditing feed files going into payroll systems, you will ensure timely and accurate transmission and completion of the payroll process, verify applicable payroll reports and employee time sheets, and disburse all types of wage attachments in a timely and accurate manner for UK and EMEA. The role primarily involves collation of data for outsourced payroll providers, covering nine countries in total with circa 320 employees.
You will act as a liaison with HMRC and assist with internal / external audits
Assist with implementation and testing of any payroll related applications or software
Respond to inquiries from HR, accounting, managers, employees and other third-party agencies using your knowledge and interpretation of policies, procedures, and legislation
Complete accurate year-end process
Keep up to date with payroll legislation
Experience
Previous payroll experience is required, preferably in a global, multi-location company
Basic knowledge of Word and Excel
