Job Opportunity: Class Teachers (Permanent & Fixed Term)We are seeking three dedicated Class Teachers (two permanent and one fixed term) to join our team at a primary academy. This is a unique chance to become a key member of our teaching and learning community. Starting from September 1, 2025, we will be merging with another primary academy, creating an exciting new chapter for our school. This merger will enhance our resources, expertise, and facilities, providing even greater educational opportunities for our local community. We are currently engaging with students, parents, staff, and the community to decide on our new school name, logo, and uniform.Our newly amalgamated school will feature a two-form entry system with its own pre-school, catering to children aged 2-11, and will initially include additional classes for Years 4, 5, and 6.Our transition plan is well underway, including a refurbishment and redecoration of our school buildings. We will welcome students on September 8, 2025, with staff having a full week of inset time to prepare for the opening.The trust overseeing this school is a successful multi-academy trust that offers high-quality, comprehensive, and inclusive education through its primary and secondary schools. Our schools are located in various regions, and we also have shared service hubs for our central teams. We are building a network of like-minded schools that collaborate to provide mutual support, share best practices, and learn from each other while maintaining their unique character. - Ensure the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class, promoting equality of opportunity for all.
- Maintain the highest standards in work and conduct.
- Build respectful relationships with pupils, maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
- Collaborate effectively with learners, parents/carers, governors, staff, and external agencies in the best interests of pupils.
- Adhere to statutory frameworks and professional duties as outlined in the School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document and Teacher Standards (2012).
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school.
- Contribute to the overall ethos, vision, and values of the school.
- Comply with the school's Health and Safety Policy and contribute to its review.
- Follow policies and procedures related to Safeguarding and Child Protection, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting any concerns to the appropriate person.
