Supply Primary TeacherLocation: GloucesterInitial Education are looking to recruit dedicated and dynamic class teachers to work on an ad-hoc basis or in short and long assignments in primary schools and educational settings across Gloucestershire.Are you an experienced primary teacher or Early Career Teacher looking for a new, exciting challenge from September? Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring continuity of learning in absence of the main class teacher.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive environment for all children, including those with any additional needs, so adapting teaching methods when required.
  • Deliver exciting lessons which follow the KS1 & KS2 curriculum.
  • Assess learning and if required, plan lessons which meet the requirements of the national curriculum.

Ideal Candidates will have:

  • Clear and current DBS on the update service or the willingness to apply for one
  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Experience teaching in UK Primary Schools
  • Strong Classroom management
  • A passion for the learning of children
  • Excellent understanding of the national curriculum
