Summary:

A forward-thinking multi-disciplined construction contractor with over 30 years’ experience in delivering award-winning projects is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a £24 million new build leisure centre and gym development on a 6.5-acre site in the Cotswolds. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading the project delivery team to ensure completion by December 2026. This role requires proven experience delivering projects valued at £20 million or more, ideally with a Tier 1 contractor background. The Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project execution including programme management, cost control, quality assurance, stakeholder engagement, and health and safety compliance, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

• Proven delivery of large-scale construction projects (£20m+)
• Experience working within Tier 1 contractor environments
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management
• Budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting
• Programme and risk management
• Health, safety, and environmental compliance knowledge
• Contract administration and commercial awareness
• Quality assurance and control
• Effective communication and negotiation skills

Software/Tools:

• Primavera P6 or equivalent project scheduling software
• Microsoft Project
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Certifications & Standards:

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or equivalent
• CSCS Manager’s Card
• Relevant construction or project management qualifications (e.g., Degree/HNC in Construction, Engineering or related discipline)
• Knowledge of NEC or JCT contracts
