Accommodation Administrator
Location: 2 Robinswood House, GL1 3NN
Start Date: ASAP                                               
Contract Duration: 3+ months
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Job Responsibilities

  • Be the main contact for tenant questions via phone, email, and in-person.

  • Help new tenants apply and give advice on housing options.

  • Assist with move-ins and move-outs, including handling deposits.

  • Quickly resolve tenant issues and escalate if needed.

  • Work with marketing to fill vacancies and keep occupancy high.

  • Manage room bookings and keep accurate records.

  • Handle maintenance requests promptly.

  • Inspect properties and ensure they follow regulations.

  • Keep accurate data in housing systems.

  • Help with financial transactions like deposits and rent.

  • Coordinate with NHS, universities, and partners for housing needs.

  • Collect and report feedback for service improvement.

  • Support complaint investigations and improvement projects.

  • Promote safety and compliance.

Person Specifications
Must Have

  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multitask and manage administrative tasks.

  • Proficiency in housing management systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in accommodation, property management, or hospitality.

  • Knowledge of tenancy agreements and housing rules.

  • Familiarity with financial transactions like rent and deposits.

  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in housing.
