We're seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a respected commercial and residential contractor based in Gloucester. The role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the region, with sites located within an hour's radius of the office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Quantity Surveyor looking to join a well-established contractor with genuine career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and evaluate bills of quantities, tenders, and contract documents.
Track and manage project budgets, valuations, and variations.
Conduct site visits and work closely with project teams to monitor progress and costs.
Assess and negotiate sub-contractor and supplier contracts.
Requirements
Essential:
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor (ideally 5+).
Experience working for a main contractor on commercial or residential projects.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management processes.
Preferred:
Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
Practical experience with main contractors will also be considered.
Package
Salary: Up to 65,000 (depending on experience)
Package: Company benefits included
Hours: 8am-5pm, office-based (no remote working)
Holidays: 23 days + Bank Holidays
