PLANNING & TRANSPORT SCHEDULER | GLOUCESTER, GL4 | £35,000 per annum

Our client, a well-established and globally recognised organisation, is seeking experienced Planning and Transport Schedulers to join their dynamic Control Centre team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where precision, efficiency, and proactive coordination are key to success.

You will be…

  • Planning and scheduling vehicle movements to ensure the safe and timely transport of custodies in line with agreed service delivery standards
  • Liaising closely with transport crews and establishments (including prisons and courts) to coordinate daily custody movements
  • Monitoring vehicle locations and activity using IT systems to ensure operational efficiency and compliance
  • Responding promptly to emergency alarms or alerts raised by crews, taking appropriate action to resolve issues
  • Collaborating with several agencies to ensure the secure and efficient transfer and return of custodies to their destinations
  • Managing and adapting to reative operational changes, resolving incidents and challenges as they arise
  • Maintaining high standards of safety, security, and professionalism in all custody transport operations

  • Strong geographical knowledge across the UK
  • Computer literate with the ability to quickly assimilate large volumes of data and information
  • Detail-oriented and highly organised
  • Resilient with exceptional communication skills
