Role Overview

Looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join a growing Finance Team. Reporting directly to the Management Accountant, this role will support day-to-day finance operations with a strong focus on accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their finance career who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Performing bank reconciliations across multiple accounts

  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies identified in bank reconciliations

  • Regularly reviewing and investigating debtor listings

  • Processing purchase invoices and credit notes, ensuring accurate coding within the finance system

  • Handling internal and external finance-related queries in a professional and timely manner

  • Supporting month-end processes and assisting with ad-hoc finance tasks

  • Carrying out general finance administration duties as required



Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant or Accounts Payable role

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Teams

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Proactive, fast learner with a strong sense of ownership
